Riddle Hill Homestead is a small, working homestead in Grafton, New Hampshire, centered around a historic 1790 home. It’s a place where baking, making, growing, and restoring happen side by side. The pace is slower here, the doors are usually open, and there’s almost always something in progress.
We’re Michelle and Jim Riordan. Michelle runs the cookie shop and teaches in the Craft Cottage, while Jim is steadily bringing new life back to the old house and land. Together, we’re building something rooted in care, creativity, and the belief that good things take time.
When you visit, you’re welcome to wander a bit. Stop in for cookies, join a craft class or open studio, picnic on the grounds, or simply enjoy being somewhere made with intention. Whether you come for an hour or an afternoon, we hope it feels easy to be here.
From quiet, off-grid camping and evenings by the fire to brook-side hammocks, creative spaces, and sweet treats fresh from the oven, Riddle Hill Homestead is a place to slow down, reconnect, and make something with your hands or your time.
Come for the cookies. Stay for the magic.
