Things to Do in Grafton, NH at Riddle Hill Homestead
Riddle Hill Homestead is a small, working homestead in Grafton, New Hampshire, centered around a historic 1790 home and 24 acres of river-bordered land. Baking, making, growing, restoring, and hosting happen side by side here. The pace is slower. The landscape is layered with marshland, brook, open field, and wooded edges. There is almost always something in progress.
We’re Michelle and Jim Riordan. Michelle runs the Cookie Shop and teaches in the Craft Cottage, while Jim is steadily bringing new life back to the old house and land. Together, we’re building something rooted in care, creativity, and the belief that good things take time.
When you visit, you’re welcome to settle in. Stop in for cookies, join a class or open studio, camp beneath the stars, paddle quiet water, or wander the grounds. Whether you stay for an hour or a weekend, we hope it feels easy to be here.
From off-grid camping and small creative retreats to sweet treats fresh from the oven, Riddle Hill Homestead is a place to slow down, reconnect, and make something with your hands or your time.
Come for the cookies. Stay for the magic.
